Bob Bauer | Broker/Owner
Bob Bauer is a Storm Lake native with several years of real estate experience in Iowa and Florida, where he holds licenses today. He is an Iowa State University alumnus with degrees in Business Administration and Finance and previously worked as a residential loan officer.

Bob has been a trusted name in real estate in his community for nearly 20 years. Inspired by that trust and many strong relationships forged locally, Bob and his wife Katie opened their own brokerage, Compass Real Estate Group of Northwest Iowa, in 2023.

Katie Bauer | Agent/Owner
Katie Bauer was raised in southwest Florida but has called Storm Lake home since 2007. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida and has spent the past two decades working as a nurse, which allows her to care for and support people when they are most vulnerable.

Katie earned her real estate license in 2020 and three years later, she and her husband Bob founded Compass Real Estate Group of Northwest Iowa. The brokerage has grown rapidly and they are grateful for the support and referrals they've received.

Katie and Bob keep busy with their sons, Tyler (18) and Jackson (16), and dog daughter Maisy. The Bauer family are active members of Storm Lake United Methodist Church and enjoy boating, ATV rides, and traveling.
